Lynda Liverpool

Lynda Liverpool has worked at Montco Bible Fellowship as the church’s Administrative Assistant for more than 20 years. Her heart’s passion is to see others fully live out their relationship with Jesus in tangible ways as GOD provides opportunities. Lynda is also grateful for the opportunities the LORD has allowed her to serve Him over the years, especially as a member of MBF. These have included being a member of the worship/performing arts ministries, assisting with leading the Singles ministry, serving on the Publicity ministry, and teaching at MBF’s English as a Second Language School. She has also been privileged to go on mission trips to several countries in the Caribbean and Uganda, East Africa.

Lynda has a Master’s degree in Journalism, and worked in print media and corporate communications for several years prior to going into full-time ministry. Born in London, England to Guyanese parents, Lynda spent her formative growing up in Guyana as her parents returned to their homeland when she was just a toddler. Although the family migrated to the United States about 10 years later, the foundation laid was so significant that Lynda still considers herself Caribbean, as it holds a core place in her heart.

It is this connection to the Caribbean that led Lynda to wholeheartedly support the mission and goals of Jalawelo--to help the people of Jamaica, in some of its more vulnerable communities, achieve sustainability with the love of Christ as the driving motivator. Over the years Lynda has worked with Jalawelo, in several areas including serving as a mentor for the Young Adult Circle (YAC) Program. She was also privileged to go on one of Jalawelo’s mission trips to Jamaica. There she was able to see and participate first hand in several of Jalawelo’s programs in the communities being served including visiting a pre-school, distributing care packages and praying with elderly residents, and helping with the STEM technology day for the community’s youth.

Lynda considers it a privilege to join the board and is excited to see how she can serve and how the LORD desires to use her in this capacity.
