Eternal Father,
On this election day, we pause to give You thanks for Jamaica Land We Love. We celebrate our nation, our heritage, and the progress we continue to make as a people.
We thank You for the spirit of decorum and excellence seen in our national debates. Our leaders have spoken—today, the people will speak. To our leaders, great Defender, grant true wisdom from above. May they serve with humility, integrity, and vision.
Lord, we remember the least among us—the poor, the vulnerable, and the forgotten. May we rise to the call of our pledge: to stand for justice and honor the dignity of all. Out of many, we are one people, and we embrace the richness of our diversity.
Guide our nation in peace today. May every vote cast be a step toward greater unity, fairness, and hope. Cover our people with Your protection, and bless our island home, Jamaica Land We Love—the beautiful island we call Jalawelo, a name inspired by the first two letters of the words “Jamaica Land We Love”, reminding us of our shared vision and purpose.
In Jesus’ name we ask you to bless our land.
Amen.
